AGM 2024
Lively Stones’ – How England’s Church Buildings can yet Shape the Landscape
We are delighted that the Right Reverend Dr Andrew Rumsey, Bishop of Ramsbury, will speak at our Annual General Meeting. Bishop Andrew is the Church of England’s lead bishop for church and cathedral buildings, sharing the role with the Bishop of Bristol, the Rt Revd Viv Faull.
Bishop Andrew supports the Bishop and Diocese of Salisbury in Wiltshire, as well as
one parish in Dorset and four in Hampshire. He was educated first at the University of Reading and then at Kings College, London and trained for ordination at Ridley Hall, Cambridge.
Bishop Andrew comes from a long line of parish clergy and was born in Marlborough, where he and his family now live. Both he and his wife have been involved in the Greenbelt festival for many years. As well as being an author whose writing centres on themes of place and local identity, he is also a musician with a longstanding interest in song writing and popular music.
